Registration and Pantry Hours: Tuesdays between 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Purpose of the food bank: To provide canned and other non-perishable food items to
Stephens County households in need of temporary nutritional
assistance, especially to families with minor children and the elderly.
Eligibility: To receive assistance a household representative will need to provide:
social security card
proof of address (utility bill, rent receipt, etc.)
and complete an application form.
For each additional household member, the household representative will also need to provide:
social security cards
proof of address for household members over age 18
only social security cards are needed for children under age 18.
Lastly, there is a requirement that total monthly household income cannot exceed the sum of
$1,211 plus another $429 for each additional household member.
Once the registration process has been completed, the household representative
will be eligible to obtain food items on any Tuesday, once
a month for one year, with just their personal ID.
